Zachery Ty Bryan, the former child star who played Brad Taylor on TV’s “Home Improvement,” was arrested last week in Oregon according to multiple reports.
TMZ was the first to report that Bryan, 41, had been arrested in Eugene, Oregon, Friday, July 28, for felony assault that allegedly violated the Abuse Protection Act. In short, Oregon’s Family Abuse Protection Act protects victims of domestic violence, according to the Oregon Coalition of Domestic and Sexual Violence.
Bryan was arrested in a similar incident in Eugene in 2020.
“I’ll always want what’s best for the father of my children,” Bryan’s fiancee, model Johnnie Faye Cartwright, 30, said to US Weekly in a statement. “Trauma can bring struggles in many shapes and forms. It’s a horrible situation that’s going to be spun in so many ways.”
Bryan was recently in seven episodes of the TV series “The Guardians of Justice” in 2022 and also portrayed soccer legend Harry Keough in the 2005 film, “The Game Of Their Lives” — which was later released on home video as “Miracle Match.”
