The Fourth of July is here and while many people will be having BBQs and backyard parties, some will be headed to restaurants with family and friends instead of cooking. And with how hot it’s been almost everywhere in the US, who can blame them? No one wants to be standing over a grill when it’s 98 degrees.
But will restaurants be open for the Fourth of July this year? Fortunately, most restaurants will be open for the holiday this year. While July 4 is a big holiday, it’s not like Christmas or Thanksgiving when most restaurants are closed. Almost all of them are open.
So instead of having the same old hamburgers, hot dogs, and your cousin’s questionable potato salad, you can head to your favorite restaurant and enjoy the food you love.

Italian food may not be typical for Independence Day but is there really ever a bad time for Olive Garden? Absolutely not.
So instead of barbecue or grilled steaks, you can get Fettuccine Alfredo, Chicken Parmigiana, the Tour of Italy, or as much soup, salad, and breadsticks as your stomach can take.
And instead of a cake or cookies that look like a flag, you can get a slice of Black Tie Mousse Cake, a Chocolate Brownie Lasagna, some Warm Italian Doughnuts, or a big piece of tiramisu.
The sort-of Italian restaurant is also running a bunch of July 4th specials, s there really is no wrong choice at Olive Garden!
