Veterans and first responders are invited to stop by the OHi warehouse to receive a free remnant area rug on November 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. OHi will also have discounted remnants available for the general public to purchase.
On Nov 11, veterans and first responders will need to bring their VA ID, Veterans ID Card, or proof of profession to receive a rug. If you aren’t able to make it on Nov 11, all are welcome to visit our showroom the week of November 13-17 to pick one from our leftover stock while supplies last. Our showroom is open weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
“OHi was started by our great grandfather laying carpets at the World’s Fair in the 1900s, then progressed in the 1960s when our dad opened ‘Carpets by Ray and Sons’ and has evolved to what we are now a full-scale home remodeling company. As a way to pay homage to our roots and honor those who have served our country, we are excited to offer them an added layer of comfort to their homes,” stated John Kautz, president at Our Home Improvement.
The area rugs that will be available vary in size and come in various solid colors. They are remnants of larger rugs left from what we didn’t use on prior projects. Service professionals will receive a free rug. The padding is not included but can be purchased.
